And what about some French ephemera? There is also a white version
of this that can be used as a transfer. I plan to use the decoupage technique
to stick it to my shabby old chest that I recently thrifted and painted.

As for me, apart from finding lovely things online I spent today painting an old wardrobe. It went from mahogany art deco mess to white and shabby complete with hand made heart garland. It only took me 2 years to get round to it...more on that later.

Once again, I believe they are to be used in your graphic design endeavours to adorn blog posts, images, websites etc (just like my own example above) but I just can't help thinking that they would make the cutest little post it notes for marking notes and such or even better as little book marks! They could also double up as little flags for your next tea party or picnic or even to accessorise a scrap book, notice board or journal.

Go mad people and use a little imagination...you need to find an excuse to have these in your life!

I have just stumbled across these lovely  freebies and I just love them!! I believe their intended purpose is to jazz up digital art or for use on blogs such as this. But I think You could use these tape strips for far more interesting things. Print them out onto paper and you can use them on gifts as decorate sticky tape, or you could use them to fasten gift bags, or as cupcake flags, you could even use them as a fancy way of attaching photographs into an album by gluing them down...the possibilities are quite frankly, endless!

I mean business

I've gone and got myself some business card style blog cards...not that I am running a business of any kind but I would quite like to promote my blog a bit more and I do quite like the idea of having them plus they're pretty and  I couldn't pass up the idea.

The design comes courtesy of Free pretty things for you but I added the text myself. I intend to send them out with all future craft swaps, giveaways, ebay sales, bill payments....you name it!

I honestly do not know how I survived before I discovered the wealth of free treasures on the internet that you can download and print and keep forever. I have officially become freebie obsessed, more specifically freebies of the beautiful kind. There is no better way to add thoughtful, beautiful and personal touches to parties, picnics and showers. Actually, there is no end to the possible uses of cute internet printables, all you need is a printer, some imagination and an occasion.
