My printable gift to you

Hello all,

Christmas is but a blissfully short seven days away. Unfortunately I have been horrifically ill since last we spoke and I am very slowly getting better...hopefully in time for Christmas!

I stumbled across some rather adorable printable gift tags for those of you who love everything cute and vintage and have yet to wrap your gifts..infact, they are so lovely that I re tagged some of my presents.

So here they are..

You can download them here for yourself and bring some extra festive loveliness to your no doubt sublimely wrapped gifts. I printed mine on some peach coloured card and they look wonderful!

On another note, I am amused and surprised by the amount of Christmas blog posts I have read titled "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"...Is this a blog rule that I was not aware of?

Have a lovely Sunday,

Love,

Lexie (Cough, cough, sneeze, sniff)

The joy of printables

I honestly do not know how I survived before I discovered the wealth of free treasures on the internet that you can download and print and keep forever. I have officially become freebie obsessed, more specifically freebies of the beautiful kind. There is no better way to add thoughtful, beautiful and personal touches to parties, picnics and showers. Actually, there is no end to the possible uses of cute internet printables, all you need is a printer, some imagination and an occasion.

I have gathered five lovely freebies for you to enjoy and believe me it was difficult to choose. I will be doing this a lot so stay tuned for more wonderfulness.

Behold my findings below and enjoy!

Beautify your gifts with this darling little tag from Tipjunkie

Do you own a craft room, do you aspire to own one? Either way you need this
poster printable from Missie Krissie in your life. Frame it and adore it.

These downloadable wallpapers are so lovely I can barely stand it.
I would frame them to make an amazing feature wall but they would
certainly make for some gorgeous packages too.
You can thank LoveMae for these.

These should not be restricted to valentines day only. They are truly lovely and should
be used at every opportunity. I love the cupcake one the most. These
treasures are the handywork of Heartmadeblog.

Whatever will be (Free printable)

All you need is freebies

I posted these a while ago on my Tumblr and it was a huge hit! I love these prints, everyone should be aware of them! These are totally free, downloadable and wonderful courtesy of The Pretty Blog.

They make great framed art pieces!

A postcard from me to you..

Happy Sunday folks!

I have a little weekend project for those of you who are feeling productive and have some digital editing software to hand.

I was recently inspired by a blog post about displaying your favourite cards and vintage envelopes on a ribbon hanging from a wall. I have so many cards and postcards that it seemed like something that would work well for me.

I soon had the genius idea of using some of the vintage postcard printables from Fuzzimo that I recently featured, they are after all really lovely postcards and they make great display pieces. I decided to customise them with my favourite quotes and some vintage inspired imagery. Once chosen, I made the images transparent by changing the photo layer to the 'overlay' effect which gives more of a vintage printed look and I am so pleased with them.

Unfortunately, I can't share these with you because they aren't mine to give out but I do encourage you to go ahead and make your own to decorate your home with (but not to distribute of course). Get yourself the postcard templates from my earlier post and get to work to create some lovely, unique display pieces for your home.

I have hung the finished product from the fireplace in my room and they look so cute, the vintage look really compliments my room. Such a great result from such little effort!

Free as a bird

Do you ever dream of times gone by? If you truly love all things vintage then you must daydream about 1920's paris, London, New York. The fashion, the stories. It's all so captivating, don't you think.
These lovely postcards are just the epitome of the 20th Century. You can imagine couple seperated by war filling them with love and worry. They look like beautiful antiques.

But they are not! These lovely old postcard images are free and printable courtesy of Fuzzimo. You could use these to charm your loved ones. They would make wonderful gift tags, cards, thank you notes or even art pieces. Why not download a lovely old handwriting font and fill them with your favourite quotes and poetry and display them in a frame.

Antique. Vintage. Lovely!
